VdGM asks National Colleges of European Countries to send 1-2 delegates to the Pre-conference. Every year a "new" delegate has the opportunity to get an interesting introduction to the idea of being a GP in a European context and can exchange ideas, experiences and opinions. Discussions with fellow-trainees or young GP´s from all over Europe will widen their perspectives and horizons, according to the mission statement of VdGM:

Pre-conference participants will have the chance to get involved in the activities of VdGM and to attend the yearly WONCA Europe conference. The aim is to stimulate young GPs´ enthusiasm in maintaining the goals of a high quality family medicine in their countries as well as throughout Europe, working along the following lines "think globally, act locally".

People who are appointed as a delegate from the National Colleges will receive more information via e-mail. If you are not appointed but are interested in participating, please contact your National College of General Practice/Family Medicine, the VdGM Europe Council member of your Country or send an e-mail to preconferece2010@vdgm.eu
