On Friday 16th April the 2nd Annual National RCGP Junior International Committee meeting will take place at the RCGP in London. This is a unique event to learn about international opportunities in primary care, meet like-minded colleagues and contribute to the development of JIC activities.

This year we will again welcome Dr Iona Heath, RCGP President and WONCA Executive Member. Our guest speaker from Denmark will be Dr Per Kallestrup, founder of the Hippokrates Exchange Programme. We will also hear from Dr Val Wass and Dr Steve Mowle from the RCGP International Committee. In addition there will be inspirational presentations from AiT and First 5 GPs who have undertaken various international projects. In the afternoon there will be a variety of international themed workshops relevant to AiT and First 5 GPs.
All Training Deaneries and RCGP Faculties have been invited to send a representative to the meeting, in addition there are a limited number of extra places. If you would like to register for one of these places please email l.craig@rcgp.org.uk. If you would like to attend as your RCGP Faculty or Training Deanery's representative please contact them directly.
